New CSE Toolkit
After two years of work NCA are happy to announce that we have developed a new Comprehensive Sexuality education toolkit (CSE) that can be uses both in long term and a humanitarian setting and in and out of school.
The Norwegian Church Aid and ECHO partnership enters its 4th year, reaching around 80,000 people in need in Syria.

This is how NCA work in disasters
When disaster strikes, we depend on having the means to act quickly. Thanks to the support from donors and partners, we are prepared to travel at short notice when we see a need that should be addressed.
For a long period, NCA has been working with farmers in Malawi to make them more resilient to climate change. This has been more important than ever after the floods.
Larisa, Aleksei and their daughter Kristina (15) had to flee their hometown Kharkiv due to the heaving bombing. They are now at the refugee center in Berehove, close to the border with Hungary, which is runned by NCA and our local partner.

The food crisis is spreading
As the war between Ukraine and Russia continues, grain warehouses, mills, refineries, and fertilizer depots are being emptied. Country after country now reports a dramatic price increase for the goods they need most to survive.
In Ethiopia, NCA and its partner the Ethiopian Orthodox Church- Development and Inter Church Aid Commission is working to end female genital mutilation (FGM) using a indigenous community-based structure.
NCA Tanzania recently organised a "Youth Caravan" to amplify the important role that young people have to play in promoting peace and social cohesion in the Zanzibar archipelago.
In Burkina Faso, the water shortage is so great that it is forcing many people to move. That is why NCA is building wells that help both the local population and people on the run.
Meet Takondwa Phanga, one of NCA`s agronomists in Malawi. He has only one goal: to share generously of everything he can, so that small-scale farmers get out of poverty and hunger.
